CARIBOU – Alice I. Black, 91, wife of the late Lawrence Black, died Friday morning, April 15, 2011, at a Caribou health care facility. She was born Feb. 24, 1920, in Orono, the daughter of Russell C. and Maude (Jewett) Getchell Sr.
She is survived by four sisters, Dorothy Gustin of Presque Isle, Augusta Pelkey and Louella Snow, both of Hampden, and Joyce White of Wallingford, Conn.; several nieces and nephews.
