MONSON – Benjamin J. Coburn, 57, died April 14, 2011, with his family at his side, at his home. He was born June 16, 1953, in West Palm Beach, Fla., the son of Richard and Virginia (Minery) Coburn.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army stationed three years in Virginia and Germany, and was honorably discharged in 1974. He graduated from Waconah High School, Dalton, Mass., and worked for the Bureau of Land Management, Reno, Nev.

In addition to his mother of Monson, he is survived by his wife of 18 years, Rhonda (Anderson) Coburn of Monson; two sons, Benjamin J. Coburn of Lewiston and Rick W. Coburn of Boston; two grandchildren, Dylan and Billy; one sister, Lorrie Sears and her husband, Steve, of Dayton, Nev.; a brother-in-law, Mark Anderson of Dover-Foxcroft; a sister-in-law, Toni Holtman of Indiana; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father; a brother, Richard and his wife, Louise; and two sisters, Avis and Heidi.
