MILLTOWN, New Brunswick – Robert “Bob” L. Lord, beloved husband of Mary “Peggy” Edna (Grant) Lord, went to be with his Lord and Savior April 19, 2011, at Charlotte County Hospital, with his family by his side. He was born June 20, 1935, in Calais, son of the late Roy M. Lord and Viola (Lambert) (Lord) Russell.
Bob worked at Georgia Pacific Scalehouse, Woodland, until his retirement in June 1997.
In addition to his wife of 40 years, he is survived by his sons, Wade and Leanne of St. Stephen, New Brunswick, and Shawn and Susan of Graham, Wash.; his daughter, Lana Lord of Augusta; stepchildren, Bob Conley and Mary, and Susan Bourque – his constant support, all of St. Stephen, New Brunswick; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by a beloved granddaughter, Patti Sue Lambert.
There will be no visitation by request of the family. A service of remembrance will be held at a later date. Interment at Moores Mills Cemetery, Moores Mills, New Brunswick.
