EAST MACHIAS – Annette “Grammyola” Dennison died peacefully April 9, 2011, at her home. She was born June 27, 1922, daughter of Elden and Laura Colbeth.
Annette loved feeding the birds and baking. She was an avid sports fan, and especially loved tennis and the Red Sox. She also loved the Washington Academy Raiders, never missing any of her grandchildren’s games.
She is survived by her four sons, Ronnie and wife, Donna, Stanley and wife, Patty, Eddie, and Ceddie and wife, Beverly; 12 grandchildren, Wendell Dennison, Stephanie Joslyn, Ron Dennison, Julie Tribou, Mike Ferguson, Lori Barrows, Mark “Teet” Ferguson, Kari Reynolds, Rene Davis, Kelley Dennison, Joey Dennison and Donna Slater; a sister, Eda Talbott; a stepbrother, Stanley Mattatall; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by special friend, Tina Bridgham. Annette was predeceased by her husband, Ralph “Suze” Dennison, in 1995.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, May 1, at Jacksonville Cemetery.
