ISLAND FALLS – Wayne E. MacKenzie, 75, died April 18, 2011, in Cottonwood, Ariz. He was born June 29, 1935, in Island Falls, son of Ralph and Louise (Leavitt) MacKenzie.
He graduated from Island Falls High School in 1953, and spent four years in the Air Force. He graduated from Husson College and retired from Webber Oil Co.
He is survived by a daughter, Jeanne and her sister, Donna, both of Arizona; grandsons, Gabe and Neil; a great-grandson, Logan; a sister, Louella Ryan of Island Falls; uncles, Charles MacKenzie and his wife, Lona, of Island Falls and Earle Leavitt and his wife, Jean, of East Hartford, Conn.; niece, Judy Porter and her husband, Pete, of Island Falls; two nephews, Tim Ryan and his wife, Pam, and Tony Ryan and his wife, Sally Jane Landry, all of Bangor, and their families; and many cousins.
