UNION – Frederick S. Davis Jr., 87, husband of Dorothy A. Davis, died Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Winship Green Healthcare Center, Bath, after an extended period of declining health.
Mr. Davis was predeceased by his son, Frederick S. Davis III, in 2010. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Union; one daughter, Jennifer A. Davis and her husband, Terrance Martin, of Bayport, N.Y.; one brother, Robert Davis Sr. and his wife, Charlotte, of Ferrisburgh, Vt.; three grandchildren, Julia Martin, Harrison Martin and Annalise Martin; and one nephew, Robert Davis Jr. of Burlington, Vt.
A celebration of Mr. Davis’ life will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 2, at Peoples United Methodist Church, Depot Street, Union, with the Rev. George Hodgkins officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Peoples United Methodist Church, P.O.
