BUCKSPORT – Janet A. (White) Skillin, 53, went to be with her parents, and to become an angel May 6, 2011, in Bangor. She was born March 14, 1958, in Old Town, daughter of Robert R. and Theresa R. (Damboise) White.
Janet loved to garden and when the garden was growing she enjoyed making homemade salsa and pickles.
She leaves behind the love of her life, her husband of 21 years, Donald R. Skillin Sr.; her daughter, Sarah White; granddaughter, Bryana and grandson, Zachary; her son, Donald Skillin Jr. and his wife, Candace; and granddaughter, Autumn, all of Bucksport; brother, Robert White Jr. of Greenfield; along with many close friends and extended family. She was predeceased by her parents. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
A memorial service will held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 12, at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport, with Pastor Jon Ouellette officiating.
