MAXFIELD – Michelle Ann Kingman, 42, passed away May 15, 2011, at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born May 20, 1968, in Brockton, Mass., the daughter of James Redmond Kingman Sr. and Carol Ann (Bouldry) Kingman.

During her life Michelle worked as a veterinarian’s assistant, dental assistant and most recently coordinated the dental residency program at Penobscot County Community Dental Center. She served the center for seven years. She was a graduate of Penobscot Valley High School in 1986. She loved to go deer hunting, fishing and camping, and constantly worked in her yard planting flowers and gardens to make her home a work of art. She showed great pride in her home that she worked so hard to get. She dedicated her life to her family, especially her special granddaughter, Karley. Another thing that made Michelle who she was would be her many animals. She had several dogs and cats in her life, especially her Tazzy cat. When she was very young, she even raised a wood duck that had been abandoned by its mother.

She was predeceased by her parents, James R. Kingman Sr. and Carol A. Kingman. She is survived by a son, Steven J. Theriault; a grandchild, Karley Theriault; her longtime companion, Chris Martin; a brother, James R. Kingman Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth, of Leominster, Mass.; a sister, Tina M. Wellman and her husband, Glen, of Sangerville; nephews and nieces, who include Harley Wellman, James R. Kingman III, Austin Wellman, Brittany Kingman and Jonathan Kingman; several aunts, uncles, cousins and far too many very close friends to mention.

Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Friday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be at West Enfield Cemetery. Those who wish may sign an online register and leave written condolences at
