ABBOT – Everett L. Patterson Jr., 77, died May 18, 2011, at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. He was born July 6, 1933, in Skowhegan, son of Everett and Hazel (McLaughlin) Patterson Sr.
He served in the U.S. Army and worked for Farin Brothers and Smith Construction Co. for many years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Irene (Wentworth) Patterson, in 2004. He is survived by a son, Scott Patterson of Abbot; a daughter, Julie Patterson and her companion, Warren Abbott, of Abbot; three grandchildren, Trent and Travis Patterson, and Brody Tarsook; a brother, David Patterson of Abbot; a sister, Darlene Durgin of Dover-Foxcroft; nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, at Abbot Evangelical Free Church, Abbot, with Pastor Ray Beless officiating. Burial will be at Abbot Village Cemetery.
