ALEXANDER – Galen C. Charpentier, 63, passed away May 17, 2011, at Calais Regional Hospital. Galen was born Dec. 2, 1947, in Hamlin, son of Russell and Germaine (Chamberlain) Charpentier.

On April 20, 1968, he married Charlotte Manion, in South Windsor, Conn., with whom he lovingly raised two children. Galen actively participated in his son’s sports and music programs during his childhood. He was supportive and involved with his daughter as she partook in many years of dance and art, as well as supported her in her pursuit of a career in New York City. He was a loving husband and father, and a loyal friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
