PALMYRA – Shawn Clarence Morrison, 18 months, left as an earthly angel to become a heavenly angel unexpectedly May 23, 2011, at a Portland hospital. Shawn Clarence was born Nov. 5, 2009, in Portland, son of Alfred R. and Holli J. (Bubar) Morrison.
Shawn touched everyone in his special way when he came in contact with them. His smile and bright blue eyes would light up the room while he was present.
Shawn Clarence is survived by his parents, Alfred and Holli Morrison of Palmyra; his brother and best friend, Jacob Randy Morrison of Palmyra; maternal grandparents, Marilyn and Randy Hight of Hartland, and John and Julie Bubar of Rockport, Mass.; paternal grandparents, Randy and Kaylene Morrison of Palmyra; maternal great-grandparents, Keith and Marlene Bubar of Hartland, Clara and Richard Mills of Hartland, and Carroll and Carol Leavitt of Newport; paternal great-grandparents, Donald and Virginia Morrison of Palmyra, and “Lally” Caldwell of Palmyra; maternal great-great-grandmother, Caroline Hart of Hartland; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call 4-6 p.m. Friday, May 27, at Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Service Center, 34 High St., Newport. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, May 28, at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, Palmyra, with Deacon Tom Gilbert officiating. Burial will be afterward at Pine Grove Cemetery, Hartland.
