BLOOMFIELD, Conn. – Shirley (Duncan) Wadsworth, 86, beloved wife of Ronald B. Wadsworth, died Monday, May 30, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Wadsworth was born in Presque Isle.
She graduated from Presque Isle High School in 1941. She later lived and worked in New York City before moving to Connecticut. Mrs. Wadsworth worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft as an executive secretary before retiring in 1987, and had been a member of First Congregational Church, Bloomfield, Conn.
In addition to her husband, Ronald, she is survived by many special nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be private with burial at East Cemetery. Watkins Funeral Home, 142 East Center St., Manchester, Conn., has care of arrangements.
