MILBRIDGE – Joseph E. Strenko Jr., 67, died unexpectedly May 24, 2011, at his residence. He was born Jan. 12, 1944, in Homer City, Pa., son of Joseph E. and Mabel (Hill) Strenko Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra L.; two daughters, Sharon M., wife of the Rev. John Bosley Jr., of Milbridge, and JoAnn Strenko of York, Pa.; one brother, Royal of Homer City, Pa.; and two grandchildren, Emily and Eric Bosley, whom he greatly adored.
Ed was a faithful attendee of Down East Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church, and a member of Johnstown Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church, Johnstown, Pa. We rejoice knowing that he is safe in the arms of the Savior whom he faithfully served.
Memorial services were held May 28 at Down East Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church, Milbridge. Interment will be June 2 at Pike Grace Brethern Church, Mundys Corner, Pa. Contributions may be made in his memory to Down East Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church.
