VIERA, Fla. – Berton M. Young passed away June 1, 2011, in Viera, Fla. He was born July 11, 1943, in Brewer, to Donald W. Young and Olive (Higgins) Young.
Berton was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was predeased by his parents; and his brother, Richard Donald. He is survived by his wife, Arline (Fransoso) Young of Viera, Fla.; his children, Berton Young, Ryan Young, Jeffrey Young, Stephanie Young and Jennifer Young Makris; granddaughter, Zoe Anastasia Makris; sisters, Sandra and her husband, George Doughty, of Bangor, and Linda and her husband, Verlin Tompkins, of Lucedale, Miss.; brother, Ronald Young and his wife, Joann, of New Bern, N.C.; several nieces and nephews.
Service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Viera, Fla.
