MONSON and GUILFORD – Doris Berry Clukey passed away June 13, 2011, at Hibbard Nursing Home, Dover-Foxcroft, where she had wonderful care and loved all the kind and thoughtful staff. She was born Dec. 8, 1912, in East Madison, the daughter of Fred and Elza (Moody) Pugh.

She was a past member of Euclid Chapter Order of Eastern Star, past noble grand of Rebekah’s, and Monson Women’s Club. She worked at Hardwood Products, Guilford, and Moosehead Manufacturing Co., Monson, for many years.

Doris is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce Berry Lander and husband, Robert, of Abbot; three grandsons and their wives, Greg and Janie Lander of Guilford, Scott Sr. and Debra Lander of Dover-Foxcroft, and Dayne and Lorna Lander of Abbot; three great-grandchildren, Scott Lander Jr. and Wendy of Dover-Foxcroft, Stephanie Lander Higgins and Troy, and their children, Michaela and Jacob, all of Rochester, N.H., and Dustin Lander and Kristen and their son, Chase, all of Guilford. She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Dolly White and her husband, Robert, of Dover-Foxcroft; and special nephew, Joseph Wood and his wife, Kay, of Palmyra. She was predeceased by her first husband, Fred L. Berry, in 1964; a brother, Harold Batcher, in 1967; a sister, Arlene Fox, in 2002; husband, Donald Clukey, in 2003; and a beloved great-grandson, Joshua R. Lander, in 1991.

Friends are invited to call 1 p.m. until time of funeral service 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, with Pastor George Dever officiating. Burial will be in the family lot at Hillside Cemetery, Monson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Joshua R.
