BANGOR – Lenard B. Gowen, 45, passed away in his sleep June 11, 2011, due to health conditions. He was born April 13,1966, in Portland
He went to South Portland schools and graduated from Bucksport High School. He enjoyed spending time with family.
He was predeceased by his mother and father, Mary A. and Walter L. Sr. of Bucksport; and his sister, Marjorie Moore of Portland. He is survived by brothers, Reuben of Portland, Robert and Vickie of Bangor, Harold of Brewer, Walter L. Jr. of Portland and Floyd of Massachusetts; and sisters, Velma Nguyen of Portland, Vera Goodhue of Connecticut and Linda Bowden of Westbrook. He will be sadly missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends; and fiancee, Lisa Ann.
Graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Hillside Cemetery, Bucksport. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent care of Velma Nguyen, P.O. Box 2313, South Portland, ME 04116-2313.
