ROCKFORD, Ill. – William C. “Bill” Lint, 72, died Sunday, June 5, 2011, at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born May 8, 1939, in Mapleton, he was the son of William and Mildred (Kenney) Lint.
Bill served in the U.S. Army. He married Nancy Goodrid Nov. 2, 1962, in Carmel, Calif. Bill moved to Rockford, Ill., in 1966. He was a test lab technician for Sundstrand Corp. for many years. He enjoyed auto racing.
He is survived by his former wife, Nancy; sons, Kevin Lint of Seattle and Andrew and Laura Lint of Rockford, Ill.; granddaughter, Valrie Lint; and sisters, Claudene and Mac Brown of Maine, Anna and Cyril McCarthy of New Brunswick and Wanda and Patrick Passero of Maine. Bill was predeceased by son, Jonathan Lint; and his parents.
Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at Southside Cemetery, Mapleton, with the Rev. Larry Palmer officiating. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle. Online condolences may be made at
