BUCKSPORT – Alyce “Connie” Conary Collins died June 10, 2011. Connie was born in Bucksport, daughter of Judge Wiley C. and Georgia (Eaton) Conary.
She attended local schools and graduated from Eastern Maine Conference Seminary. She also attended Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School, Boston, and worked as a legal secretary until her retirement in 1966.
Connie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harvard F. Collins. She will be missed by her dear friends, Laurie Osthoff, Meg Smith, Adrienne McDonald and Rita Griffin.
There will be no formal funeral service at Connie’s request. There will be a dual committal service for Harvard and Connie 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth, with Pastor Peter Remick officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 28 Elm St., Bucksport.
