SOUTHWEST HARBOR – Brian Edward Towne, 52, died June 16, 2011, at his residence. He was born Oct. 23, 1958, in Biddeford, the son of Alton H. and Thelma E. (Burns) Towne.
Brian was a local carpenter and respected mason.
He is survived by his stepson, Christopher Sullivan of Southwest Harbor; sister, Gail Foley of North Berwick; brothers, Douglas Towne and wife, Joanne, of Alabama, Gary Towne and wife, Judy, and Glen Towne, all of Berwick, and Ronald Towne of North Berwick; and two stepgrandchildren, Christopher Jr. and Colby. He was predeceased by his parents; and partner, Lisa Sullivan.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, at Mount Height Cemetery, Southwest Harbor.
