CORINNA – Merlin M. Meagher, 68, died June 16, 2011, at his residence. He was born May 14, 1943, in Westfield, a son of Arnold and Laura (Holmes) Meagher.
He had been employed as a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Meagher of Corinna; a daughter, Jennifer and husband, Corey Lawler, of Bangor; a stepson, Paul “Butch” and wife, Vicki Patchell, of Newport; grandchildren, Maygan Meagher, Joli Meagher, Cassidy Lacroix and Ryan Patchell; a sister, Martina and husband, Donald Reynolds, of Newport; three brothers, Carroll and wife, Janice Meagher, of Newport, Dean Meagher of Bangor and Dalton and wife, Marcia Meagher, of Corinna; a special sister-in-law, Joanne Meagher of Palmyra; a brother-in-law, Richard and wife, Diane MacIntosh, of Plymouth; a sister-in-law, Jean McIntosh of Newport; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Meagher, Nov. 12, 2010; and a brother, Gary Meagher, in 2000.
