BANGOR — Brandon Gendreau hit a two-run single to highlight a three-run Brewer rally in the top of the fourth inning that propelled the Falcons to a 5-3 American Legion baseball victory over Motor City Thursday.
Cody Farrell added a sacrifice fly during the rally, which broke a scoreless tie.
Tyler French had a double and an RBI single for 8-3 Brewer, while Nick Moore singled twice.
Zak Kochis had an RBI double and two singles for 4-6 Motor City of Bangor, while Chris Hammond and Casey Estes each tripled and singled and Sean O’Donnell doubled and singled.

At Calais, Adam Geel pitched five innings of two-hit, one-run ball and Tim Barnes threw two scoreless innings despite allowing four hits as Calais earned the victory.
Geel struck out four and walked three and the only run off him was unearned.
Geel triggered a three-run second inning with a single. A walk and two throwing errors on a grounder back to the mound by Lewis Francis produced the runs.
Geel also had a run-scoring ground-out and Francis had an RBI single for 3-6 Calais.
Ted Walker doubled for 5-4 Lincoln and A.J. Harris tossed a complete-game five-hitter, striking out six and walking three.

Bangor 4, Acadians 2
At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Dylan Morris and Joe Stanevicz hit back-to-back triples to key a three-run third-inning rally as the Comrades improved their Zone 1-leading record to 9-1.
The Acadians had jumped out to a 2-0 lead with single runs in the first and second innings. Nic Cota led off the Bangor third with a single before Morris tripled him home and then scored on Stanevicz’s triple. Christian Corneil followed with a sacrifice fly to drive home Stanevicz.
Morris had two triples in the game, while teammate Cody McInnis singled twice.
Bryan Rouleau earned the pitching win, with Curtis Worcester working a scoreless seventh inning to pick up the save.
Dennis O’Neil led the 1-8 Acadians with a double and single, while Mike Crowley and Chase Bickford each doubled and Ben Eley had an RBI single.

Hampden 16, Penquis 13
At Hampden, Hampden quelled a sixth-inning Penquis rally with one of its own as the Riverdogs beat the Navigators.
Penquis scored 11 runs in the sixth to take a 12-8 lead, but Hampden scored eight in the bottom half to get the win.
Connor Perry scored the game-winner on a Reid McGinley suicide squeeze with no outs in the sixth for 8-3 Hampden. Josiah Brazier capped the rally with a two-run double.
Justin Amoroso led the Riverdogs with three singles and three RBIs. Kevin Frederick had two singles and three RBIs.
Ryan Rebar paced 1-8 Penquis with a double, three singles and three RBIs. David Lord added a two-run double.
