LAMOINE – Barry E. Norris, 58, died suddenly July 2, 2011, of a heart attack in Marlboro. He was born March 11, 1953, in Bar Harbor, son of James and Eleanor (Tower) Norris.
He was the owner and operator of Pro Auto, Lamoine, for more than 25 years. He also
owned Winterport Dragway for 12 years. Barry enjoyed lobstering, bowling and traveling with his family.
He will be dearly missed by his life partner of 15 years, Susan Tewell; children, Chris Nor-ris and companion, Darcy, and grandson, Cooper, Alexis Tewell, Jessica Mayo, Lindsey Tew-ell, Michael Tewell and Shannon Tewell; and four brothers, James, Peter, Kevin and Jeffrey. He was predeceased by his parents.
A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at Marlboro Beach, Lamoine. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barry’s memory may be made to Lamoine Fire Department, 606 Douglas Highway, Lamoine, ME 04605. Condolences may be expressed at
