MILLINOCKET – Eleanor P. Lagassey died peacefully Sunday, July 3, 2011. She was born April 25, 1916, in Old Town.
She is survived by son, Jim and wife, Maryann; grandson, Shawn and wife, Lori; and close friends, Phil and Peg Sturman.
A memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. July 9 at First Congregational Church, Millinocket, with Pastor Terry Given officiating. Friends may share memories after the service at a reception in the fellowship hall downstairs. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember Eleanor may make a donation to First Congregational Church Endowment Fund, P.O. Box 507, Millinocket, ME 04462.
