FRENCHVILLE and FORT KENT – Steven J. Levesque, 41, died peacefully July 27, 2011, at a Frenchville nursing facility. He was born Feb. 2, 1970, in Fort Kent, son of Lawrence and Iva (Pelletier) Levesque.
Steven worked for many years for Gilman Bouchard Dodge as a mechanic, which he enjoyed.
He is survived by one daughter, Amanda Levesque; one son, Austin Levesque; companion, Gina Pelletier, all of Fort Kent; his mother, Iva Levesque of Frenchville; one sister, Louise Levesque of Petersburg, Pa.; and four brothers, Hervin and his wife, Debrah, of Madawaska, Michael of Wells, Donald and his wife, Carol, of Fort Kent, and Larry and his wife, Penny, of Frenchville. Steven was predeceased by his father in 2006.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday and 8-9:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Committal services will be afterward in the parish cemetery.
