ROCKLAND – Frederick S. Allen, 85, died Friday, July 29, 2011, after a brief period of declining health. Visiting hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland, where an Elk’s memorial service will be conducted 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
