BUCKSPORT – Alma B. Hass, 89, died Sunday, July 31, 2011, at her home. She was born Oct. 26, 1921, in Bangor, daughter of Roy and Effie (Carter) Morgan.
Alma lived most of her life in Brewer and Orrington, and was a caring neighbor for both young and old. She was a lifetime lover and protector of animals.
Alma is survived by a brother, Roy Morgan Jr. of Springvale. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her caregivers of the last four years, Iris and Mike Wood, Gayle McKearin, Trasi Colson, Chuck West, and her best friend, Margaret Clark. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Olin Morgan, in 1989. A special thanks to Dr. Barbara Verault.
A private interment will be held at Marston Cemetery, Orrington. A service of Brookings-Smith, Brewer Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer.
