ST. DAVID – Edna G. Hebert, 91, passed away Aug. 2, 2011, at a Bangor health care facility.

She was born Feb. 12, 1920, in Caribou, daughter of the late Louis and Lumina Gagnon.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, but she especially loved her great-grandchildren.

Edna is survived by her four children, Rita Michaud of Veazie, Louie Hebert and his wife, Raymonde, of Glenburn, Helen Connor of Tennessee, and John Hebert and his wife, Diane, of Madawaska; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; one sister, Rita Martin and her husband, Lester, of Caribou; one brother, Hector Gagnon and his wife, Therese, of Connor; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Alcide Hebert, in 1999; and by several siblings.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at St. David Church.
