RANDOLPH – The Rev. Gary R. Akeley, 59, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, at MaineGeneral Medical Center Thayer Unit, Waterville. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Randolph United Methodist Church, 1 Asbury St., Randolph. A complete obituary will be published at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner.
