MAPLETON – Murrey Boyles, 75, passed away Aug. 4, 2011, at a Bangor health care facility. He was born Oct. 7, 1935, in Presque Isle, son of Bernard and Hilma (Archer) Boyles.

Murrey was a graduate of Mapleton High School, class of 1954. He was an auto body repairman for 47 years and an active member of Mapleton United Methodist Church.

Murrey is survived by four children, Brent and his wife, Duska, of Mapleton, Tamra Robertson and her husband, Dan, of Colby Siding, Torry Eaton and her husband, Mike, of Mapleton and Trudy DeBlois and her husband, Dale, of Winthrop. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Dayna and her husband, Tom, Bradlee and his wife, Erica, Andrew, Seth and his fiancee, Susie, Carter, Emily, Morgan, Melissa, Morgan “MoMo,” Keenan, Elizabeth, Karson and Mitchell; two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Aiden; as well as his very close companion, Iris. Murrey was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Ardis (Condon) Boyles; his son, Bryan; and an infant son, Teremy.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call 10-11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, at Mapleton United Methodist Church, where a memorial service will be held 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dorothy Matson officiating.
