BANGOR – Robert T. McTigue, 81, died Aug. 6, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 22, 1930, in Bangor, the son of John T. and Grace H. (Hamilton) McTigue.
Robert was a dairy farmer for many years, sold firewood and repaired wood stoves.
Robert is survived by two brothers, John and Erwin “Jack” McTigue; a sister, Judith Erim; several nieces and nephews; close friends, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Pomeroy, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hatch and Mr. and Mrs. Al Trask. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Francis and Paul McTigue; and a sister, Roselle Gerismen.
