MILLINOCKET – Terry C. Pelletier, 58, passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, at a Millinocket hospital. He was born Sept. 3, 1952, in Millinocket, the only son of Norman and Jeannette (Devoe) Pelletier.

Terry was a graduate of Stearns High School, class of 1971. He met and married his beloved wife, Jeri, and they shared 37 years together. Terry was a member of Knights of Columbus Council No. 680, holding positions of grand knight and district deputy. One of his most memorable times was when he was chosen to go as a delegate from Maine for the 100th anniversary of Knights of Columbus held in Connecticut. Terry worked at Great Northern mill in Millinocket until his retirement in 1991.

Terry is survived by his wife, Jeri (Gordon) Pelletier; his son, Jeffrey Gordon and his wife, Ryann (Martin) Gordon, of Millinocket and Daegu, South Korea; his daughter, Laurie Chamberlain and her husband, Greg, of Hampden; three grandsons, Wade Mason Jr., Tyson Gordon and Ben Chamberlain; a brother-in-law, Richard Gordon and his wife, Janette, of Orrington; two sisters-in-law, Judith Brosmer and fiance, Jonathan Canfield, of Bangor and Brenda Davis of Florida; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; and his sister, Kathy.

Friends are invited to visit with the family 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, at Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket, where a prayer service will be conducted 7:30 by the officers and members of St. Martin’s Council No. 680, Knights of Columbus. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at St. Martin of Tours of Christ the Divine Mercy Parish, 19 Colby St., Millinocket. Interment will be at Millinocket Cemetery.
