MADAWASKA – Yvette Thibodeau Wilson, 72, died peacefully Aug. 9, 2011, surrounded by her family at home. She was born July 1, 1939, in Riviere-Verte, New Brunswick, daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Therrien) Thibodeau.
She was a member of Edmundston Hospital Volunteers.
Yvette is survived by her husband, Charles David Wilson; four children, Manon and Yves Levasseur, Suzy and Andre Chalifoux, Stephane, and Christian and Claire Roussel; four grandchildren, Melyssa and Michel Michaud, Isabelle, Emile and Maude; one great-grandchild, Melody; and her siblings, Auguste and Therese, Herve, Claudette, Jeanne D’Arc and Gilles Couturier, Bertrand and Marise, Jean-Marie, and Line and Hermel Theriault.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 15, at Sacred Heart of Green River Church. The family will receive condolences at the rear of the church 10 a.m. until time of service Monday.
