BANGOR – Eugenia “Louise” (Weston) Wyman, 83, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, died Aug. 12, 2011, surrounded by her family. She was born Sept. 22, 1927, in Bangor, the loving daughter of Harry and Stella Weston.
After high school Louise raised her three daughters with her husband throughout the East Coast following her husband’s work. She spent her final years with her husband back home in Bangor at Sunbury Village. Louise and her husband gifted many beautiful memories to their children and grandchildren while spending many summers in Raymond at their camp on Panther Pond. Louise spent her life doing what she did best, taking care of others. Louise was known for her caring and compassionate nature, teaching Sunday school, taking care of disabled children in Barre, Vt., serving school lunches with a smile at Broken Ground Elementary School, Concord, N.H., and taking care of her husband. She always had a hug for any child who needed one. She touched many lives with her loving and adventurous spirit, especially those of her five grandchildren, whose lives she blessed in so many ways. Louise’s last statement before she passed away summed up her view of life perfectly, “It’s been a wonderful trip, I have enjoyed every minute of it!”
Louise was predeceased by her best friend and husband of 59 years, Harold “Bill” Wyman; daughter, Judy Davidson; and brother, Harry Weston. Louise leaves behind a family who will greatly miss her. Surviving family members include: daughters, Becky DuVal and her husband, Robert, of Oakland and Peggy Hobden and her husband, Bill, of Michigan; sisters, Irene Sullivan of Glenburn and Peggy Zeran of Silver Spring, Md.; sister-in-law, Clarice Weston of Bangor; her grandchildren, Christopher Larrivee and his wife, Melanie, of Florida, Joey Davidson and his wife, Jennifer, of Kentucky, Tina Davidson and her partner, Kevin Rocray, of Portland, Tracy Wise and her husband, James, of Florida and Chantelle Moynihan and her husband, Dermot, of New Hampshire; eight beautiful great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews. The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the staff at Woodlands Assisted Living, Waterville, for their devoted care and compassion in the last months of Louise’s life.
