HOLDEN – Beverly (Kittredge) Ferris, 71, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, after a brief illness. She was born Dec. 31, 1939, in Bar Harbor, daughter of Richmond and Ann (Ward) Kittredge.
Beverly grew up in Bar Harbor and attended local schools. She enjoyed a career for numerous years as the daytime manager of Pilot’s Grill, Bangor.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Norman Ferris; sister, Judy Hawkes and her husband, Marshall; sister-in-law, Nancy Savage and her husband, Nelson; and brother-in-law, Brent Ferris. In addition to her parents, Beverly was predeceased by her sister, Priscilla.
A memorial reception will be held 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Family Reception Rooms of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main St., Brewer.
