GUILFORD – Ann E. Panciera, 68, went to be with her Lord and Savior Aug. 19, 2011, in Greenville. She was born Oct. 3, 1942, in Meriden, Conn., daughter of William and Vivian (Smith) Hazlett.

She was a member of Willimantic Community Church and taught at Willimantic Christian School. She was a faithful wife, mother and friend.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard E. Panciera of Guilford; a daughter, Rebecca Simmons of Meriden, Conn.; three sons, Robert Panciera and his wife, Stephanie, of Monson, Jared Panciera and his wife, Kathy, of Guilford and Jeremy Panciera of Guilford; grandchildren, Micah, Dadjian, Amber, Katherine, Emily, Joanna, Cassidy, Thomas and Jennifer; a brother, James Hazlett of Heath, Mass.; and a sister, Jane Butler and her husband, David, of Poteau, Okla. She was predeceased by her parents; and an infant son, Richard Everett Panciera, in 1967.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak St., Guilford, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, with Pastor Isaiah Hill officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Guilford. For an online guest register, go to
