ORRINGTON and MACHIAS – Ronald Paul Frisco Jr., 43, died Aug. 19, 2011, as the result of an automobile accident. Ronald was born Dec. 19, 1967, in Governor, N.Y., to Ronald P. Frisco Sr. and Dianna L. (Cook) Robinson.

Ronald grew up and attended schools in Machias before graduating from Machias Memorial High School. He then worked as an excavator operator for 20 years. Ron enjoyed spending time with his family, in particular, playing golf with his son, Derek. Another great passion of his was that he loved playing the drums, which he did until he lost his thumb in a boating accident.

Ronald is survived by his mother, Dianna L. (Cook) Robinson; his son, Derek Paul Frisco; his sister, Ronnette (Frisco) White; a brother, Erron Harmon; nieces, Brianna, Kierstin, and Emily; as well as several special friends too numerous to mention. Ron was predeceased by his father, Ronald P. Frisco Sr.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor, with the Rev. Dr. Alston Oliver, pastor of Christ Church of Faith, Old Town, presiding. Family and friends are invited to visit 11 a.m. until the service begins.
