GLENBURN – Kevin D. Paschal II, 49, died Aug. 24, 2011, at his home after lengthy illnesses. He was born May 12, 1962, in Bangor, son of Charles and Geneva (Jellison) Paschal.

Kevin was a Glenburn town councilor for 13 years and a 10-year member of Penobscot County Budget Committee. He was a member of Sons of the American Legion and a former dispatcher for Glenburn Fire Department. Kevin was an avid outdoorsman spending his time hunting and fishing, and was a collector of firearms.

He is survived by his soulmate, Marie Winter of Waterville; two brothers, Charles C. Paschal of Glenburn, and Keith D. Paschal and his wife, Cindy, of Corinth; his uncle, Edmund Paschal; aunt, Margaret Paschal, both of Bangor; two nephews and their wives, Jamie and Rebecca Paschal of Kennebunk, and Jared and Jessica Paschal of Corinth; three great-nieces, Stevie, Mabel and Olivia; lifelong friends, Brian, Tim, Kelly, Scott and Cindy; many cousins and friends.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, with family friend, the Rev. Donald L. Olson, officiating.
