BANGOR – Amanda Sue Hobbs, 24, passed away Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, at a Bangor hospital, after a long battle with heart disease. She was born Oct. 30, 1986, at Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor, the daughter of Sally Ann (Hobbs) Williams of Argyle and Merrill Dennis Cross of Brewer.
Amanda attended Old Town High School and Penobscot Valley High School, Howland, in the class of 2006. Amanda was a beautiful, caring, loving person that regardless of the situation would brighten our darkest moments with her bright cheerful smile, and brought love to each and every moment of our lives. She loved playing with her children and all children. She loved singing karaoke whenever she could. Amanda may not be here right now with us, but she most certainly left behind little pieces of herself with each and every person she knew. Amanda it’s our turn now to be selfless and let you go on your journey with God and his angels. Life is not forever Amanda but our love for you is.
