JONESPORT – Reginald O. “Tug” Davis Sr. lost his battle with lung cancer Aug. 30, 2011, at his home, lovingly cared for by his family. He was born May 10, 1929, in South Addison, son of John and Susan Davis.
Tug served the U.S. Army in Germany, then returned home to be a lobster fisherman. He was owner and operator of Seaview Laundromat.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Narda (Alley) Davis; their daughter, Holly Davis; three sons, Reginald Jr. of Jonesport, Jeffery and wife, Kim, of Carmel and Jody of Kenduskeag; three grandchildren, Jessika, Jeffery and Whitney; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Doris Joy and Muriel Grant of Addison
At Tug’s request, there will be no funeral services. A committal service will be held at a later date.
