CORINNA and BANGOR -Joyce L. (Hatch) McLaughlin, 79, wife of the late Albert B. McLaughlin, died Sept. 7, 2011, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born Feb. 10, 1932, in Corinna, daughter of Walter and Vera (Bean) Hatch.
Joyce was a graduate of Corinna Union Academy. She worked for Snowflake Canning, Corinna, and then became a certified nurse’s aide working at Eastern Maine Medical Center and Westgate Manor. Joyce was very active with Bangor American Legion Auxiliary and attended First Baptist Church, Bangor.
She is survived by her sister and husband, Darlene and Orman Kronholm of Medway; sister-in-law, Marge Hatch of Puyallup, Wash.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Walter Hatch Jr.
Services will be private at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta.
