WINTERHAVEN, Calif. – Doris Evelyn (Rogers) Fitzherbert, 93, died Sept. 17, 2011, in Winterhaven, Calif., in the loving care of her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Leah. Doris was born in Fort Fairfield.
She was married to T. Arthur Fitzherbert for 65 years. They lived in Presque Isle until 1985 when they moved to Zellwood, Fla.
Doris was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Arthur; her son, Paul; her granddaughter, Pamela Pray; and her great-granddaughter, Nicki Contu. She is survived by three sons, Robert and his wife, Leah, of Winterhaven, Calif., Thomas Jr. and his wife, Betsy, of Presque Isle and Kevin of Slidell, Texas; two daughters, Leandra Chappell of Zellwood, Fla., and Vicki Lyons and her husband, Daniel, of Kennebunk; 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Oct. 29 in Zellwood, Fla.
