NORRIDGEWOCK, Maine — A collision between a sport utility vehicle and a tractor-trailer truck left a Norridgewock woman with a leg injury and lacerations.
Laura Russell, 44, was heading westbound on Waterville Road in her 1998 Ford Expedition when the vehicle allegedly crossed the centerline, hitting the driver’s side of a 2010 International tractor-trailer, which was hauling an empty tanker, according to a Morning Sentinel report.
Kimberly Ludden, 47, was behind the wheel of the truck, owned by H.O. Bouchard Inc. of Hampden.
The truck had about $35,000 worth of damage while Russell’s SUV was demolished.
Russell was transported to Redington-Fairview Hospital in Skowhegan, while Ludden was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
