BUCKSPORT – Dana K. Tozier, 80, died Sept. 24, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Feb. 21, 1931, in Bucksport, the son of Harold and Leta (Brown) Tozier.

Dana was the owner of Tozier’s Bucksport Variety Store on Main Street for 44 years.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Marion (Farrell) Tozier of Bucksport; his children, Dale Tozier and his wife, Mary-Jo, Joyce Achorn and Mike Tozier, all of Bucksport; three grandchildren, Dale Tozier Jr., Jason Achorn and Aubrey Atherton; five stepchildren, Mike Kettell and his wife, Lauri, Eric Kettell, Karen Gordon and her husband, Allan, Jonathan Kettell and Lisa Kettell; his brother, Harold “Sonny” Tozier Jr. of Alfred; many stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; his first wife, Jeanette (Rich) Tozier; brother, Leo Tozier; and three sisters, Frances Metcalf, Norma Cormier and Beverly LaCroix.

A celebration of his life will be held 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, at Franklin Street United Methodist Church, Bucksport. Interment will be at a later date at Silver Lake Cemetery, Bucksport.
