PARKMAN – Arlene M. Cullicutt, 94, died Oct. 3, 2011, at her home. She was born Sept. 19, 1917, in Sangerville, daughter of Alonzo and Hattie (Gray) Ireland.

She worked for many years at Hardwood Products Co., Guilford, retiring at age 65. During her life she enjoyed traveling. Her favorite places to visit were Prince Edward Island and the Amish country in Pennsylvania. She was a member of South Sangerville Grange for many years and was a member of Senior Citizen’s, Guilford. On Sept. 19, 2011, upon turning 94, Arlene was presented with the Boston Post Cane as the oldest person in Parkman.

She was predeceased by her husband, Hartley W. Cullicutt; and a son, Kenneth Ireland. She is survived by a son, Weldon Cullicutt and his wife, Dodie, of Parkman; two daughters, Jeanette Gilbert and her husband, Merle Sr., of Parkman, and Helen Conant and her husband, Floyd, of Appleton; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call noon-2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak St., Guilford. Graveside services will be afterward at Sangerville Village Cemetery with Pastor Stephen Dean officiating. For an online guest register, go to
