BOW, N.H. – Leroy F. Hechler, 89, passed away Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, in Concord, N.H. He was born in Limestone, son of the late Frederick W. and Bridget (McLaughlin) Hechler.
He attended schools in Limestone. He was a corporal in the 106th U.S. Army Air Force from 1945 to 1947. He owned a business in Limestone for many years.
Survived by his wife, Rita (Levesque) Hechler of Bow, N.H.; three daughters, Patricia Beruk, Susan Hechler-Lynch and Janet Haines; five grandchildren; and a sister, Florence Young of Bangor. He was predeceased by his brother, Cyril Hechler; and a sister, Dorothy Browne.
Visiting hours will not be held. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at Immaculate Heart Of Mary Church, 180 Loudon Road, Concord, N.H. Burial will be at a later date at New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, N.H. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CRVNA, 30 Pillsbury St., Concord, NH 03301.
