ORLAND – Crystal (Libby) Rogers, 50, passed away peacefully Oct. 5, 2011, at home with her family. She was born March 11, 1961, in Bangor, daughter of Florence Libby of Orrington and the late Donald Libby.
Crystal loved the outdoors and being at camp.
She is survived by her longtime companion of 17 years, Norman Gomm Jr. and dog, Sheba; brother, Rod Libby and family of Orrington; son, David Grindle of Old Town; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Gomm and Jonathon Fox and granddaughter, Bailee-Ann, of Hermon; stepdaughter, Crystal Bryant and Dan Harlan and grandsons, Zac and Cole, of Bucksport; daughter, Carmen and granddaughter, Ansley Carroll, of Bangor; brother-in-law, Dale Gomm of Orrington; special friend, Laurie Baker of Bangor; sister-in-law, Audrey Carter and Jeremy Grey of Blue Hill; several in-laws of Minnesota; uncle, Seldon and his wife of Monroe; aunt, Caroline and Jamie of Levant; many special family and friends.
Family and friends will be holding a small memorial Saturday, Oct. 22, at camp.
