MILBRIDGE – Bruce Donald Rice, 58, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. Bruce was born Nov. 29, 1952, in Bar Harbor, son of the late Donald F. and Beatrice M. (Griffin) Rice.
He spent many years as a heavy equipment mechanic and long haul truck driver.
In addition to his parents, Donald and Beatrice Rice, he was predeceased by one sister, Mona. Bruce is survived by his daughters, Michelle Bolen and husband, Rob, of Milbridge, and Marcia Hall and husband, Dustin, of Miami; sons, Thomas Rice of Augusta, Jeffrey Rice of Gray and Christopher Rice of Dexter; granddaughter, Randi Bolen of Milbridge; brothers, Dana Rice Sr. and wife, Barbara, of Birch Harbor, and Ernest Rice and wife, Kim, of Steuben; sister, Dawn Marie Blethen and husband, Gregg, of Ellsworth; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, Milbridge.
