PRESQUE ISLE – Eugene A. Lynch, 78, died peacefully Oct. 29, 2011, at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 4, 1933, in Presque Isle, the son of C. “Clyde” J. and Lillian (Rodrigue) Lynch.

Gene served in the U.S. Army. He owned and operated Welding Supply Co., Presque Isle. He loved to fly, play cribbage, and spend time at the camp at Cross Lake.

He is survived by a daughter, Susie Fourt and husband, Tom, of Newbury Park, Calif., and their sons, Connor and Hunter; a son, Gene Lynch II and his wife, Pam, of Mapleton and their sons, Nicholas, Christopher and Benji; a son, Scott Lynch and his wife, Maggie, of Gray and their children, Justin, Scott Jr. and Jennah; a son, Dan Lynch and his wife, Lisa, of Saco and their children, Courtney and Sean; a son, Stephen Lynch of Orrington and his children, Alyssa and Jared; a daughter, Diana Story and her husband, Scott, of Monroe and their children, Kelsi and Kyle; a daughter, Lyndsey E. Lynch and her partner, Jessie Thomas, of Westfield and their twin girls, Ava and Adelle; a son, Cameron “CJ” Lynch of Presque Isle; and a granddaughter, Alexy Marie Lynch.

Relatives and friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, where funeral services will be held 8 p.m. with the Very Rev.
