HOULTON – Martha E. Annett, 80, died Nov. 1, 2011, at a local hospital. She was born Jan. 26, 1931, in Merrill, daughter of William J. and Carrie (Tozier) Palmer.
Martha was a member of Houlton United Methodist Church. She worked in various aspects of food service much of her life and enjoyed cooking for people. Whether making pizzas at the little store on the County Road or cookies and popcorn balls for the kids, she knew what everyone’s favorite was. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband of 40 years; father of her children, Frederick Annett; two brothers, Robert and Fleetwood; and sister, Lois “Boots” Eager.
