OLD TOWN and BANGOR – Robert “Bob” Kenneth Rogers passed away peacefully Nov. 5, 2011, surrounded by loving family at a Bangor hospital after a short illness. He was born Feb. 5, 1933, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Arthur and Anna Olsen Rogers.

He was married to Patricia A Wickett, Sept. 6, 1953. Bob loved his children and grandchildren dearly. He enjoyed family gatherings, gardening, and trains. He served in the Air Force and the Korean War. He resided in Old Town until the passing of his loving wife of 54 years and then moved to Bangor.

He is survived by two sons, Robert of Bangor and Mark and his wife, Joan, of Milford; one daughter, Lisa Rogers of Bangor; adopted daughter, Peggy Warenski of Bangor; four grandchildren, Mark of Old Town, Heather and Ian of Bangor and Ben and Tom of Milford; two great-grandchildren, Dakota and Neveah; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at First Apostolic Church of Brewer, 14 Parkway South, Brewer, with Brother Smith officiating.
